Battery Waste

Lead Acid Battery

Battery is a standby energy source that largely has domestic and commercial use. With the rapid growth in requirements, managing end-of-life (EOL) batteries by recycling not only conserves natural resources but also extends the availability of key elements for re-manufacturing. Batteries consist of key elements like Plastic, Lead, Copper, Aluminium and much more, if recycled properly provide these key elements as raw materials to be used in the manufacturing industry. Given the risks to the environment and human health posed by lead, sulfuric acid, and other chemicals inherent in lead-acid batteries, formal recycling of these batteries is essential. Recycled materials are extracted for reuse with the minimal hazardous compounds released.

We have customised solutions for Battery Waste management for Producers, manufacturers, corporates and brand owners for Battery Waste Management, EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) and its compliance management as per applicable rules of Battery Waste Management.

Lithium-ion - Li-Ion

Battery is a standby energy source that largely has domestic and commercial use in electronic equipment like Mobiles, Laptops, Electric vehicles and many more. With the rapid growth in requirements, managing the end-of-life (EOL) of Li-Ion batteries by recycling not only conserves natural resources but also extends the availability of key elements for re-manufacturing. Li-Ion Batteries consist of key elements like Lithium, Nickel, Cobalt, Plastic and much more, if recycled properly provide these key elements as raw materials to be used in the manufacturing industry. Given the constraints of recycling, extraction of key metals from the Black Mass of Li-Ion is challenging due to the limitation of recycling capability in India, which in improving at a faster pace.

We have customised solutions for Battery Waste management for Producers, manufacturers, corporates and brand owners for Battery Waste Management, EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) and its compliance management as per applicable rules of Battery Waste Management.
