We began our journey in 2020, determined to create meaningful change in how companies manage their environmental responsibilities. India emerged as a leader by adopting Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations across various waste streams, driving a significant shift toward accountable waste management. However, the key challenges during the implementation of this EPR framework revolved around what we call “Awareness to Availability” – including establishing a supportive policy framework, educating stakeholders, and building the capacity required to deliver a true circular economy.
Driven by a passion to make a difference, we started small – a focused team with big dreams, navigating uncharted territory in EPR. The initial journey was filled with obstacles, from understanding evolving EPR compliance regulations to convincing stakeholders about the importance of sustainable practices. Yet, we embraced each challenge as an opportunity. Through unwavering belief and commitment, we built innovative solutions knowing that every step forward contributes to a cleaner environment and a more responsible future.
We aligned customer needs with the recycling industry by transforming demand into actionable strategies. Through strategic partnerships, data-driven insights, and a connected network of authorized recyclers, we developed systems that ensured EPR certification processes are smooth, improved material recovery rates, and fostered transparency. These efforts have empowered businesses to contribute meaningfully to the circular economy rather than treating compliance as just a checkbox exercise.
Over time, Kar Parivartan broadened its expertise within the EPR regime. We expanded from our initial focus on e-waste management to include plastic waste, battery waste, and tyre waste across India. This comprehensive multi-waste approach allows us to address the unique challenges and compliance requirements of each waste stream, ensuring effective recycling, efficient reverse logistics, robust resource recovery, and a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility in every domain.
As we move forward, our goal is to amplify this impact tenfold — strengthening systems, expanding into more industries, and empowering businesses to not only meet epr in India obligations but also become leaders in sustainability.

After 23 years of diversified work experience in Supply Chain Management, Mr. Ajay started his journey as an entrepreneur in 2020 with Kar Parivartan focused on building a sustainable Enterprise in eWaste Management. A unique blend of supply chain and waste management enables the ecosystem by aggregating the supply chain of waste collectors and recyclers for the Circular economy. Over the last 3 years, Kar Parivartan has excelled in eWaste and is diversifying in Battery Waste, Plastic Waste and Tyre Waste through strategic partnerships based on the Awareness to Availability Model for sustainable growth aligned with our vision.
Mr. Amit has 24 years of experience in marketing, strategic sales, and business growth. His understanding of how organizations can expand through technology combined with his history in corporate sales and client acquisition has enabled him to make a significant step toward business expansion and deep market penetration.
